Vegan and Gluten-Free Ice Cream Cones

With the right equipment, homemade waffle cones are quick and easy. Once you've made your own Vegan and gluten-free cones, you'll never go back to store bought!

For the Batter:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, beat together the melted coconut oil with the culinary coconutmilk, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  2. Add in the flax seed meal to the wet ingredients, stir, then set aside for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add in the flour, slowly, mixing with a hand mixer until it resembles a thick and creamy waffle batter.

With the right equipment, homemade waffle cones are quick and easy. Once you've made your own Vegan and gluten-free cones, you'll never go back to store bought!

For the Cones:

  1. Set the heat on your waffle cone iron to medium (3 – 4 on our machine).
  2. Drop about 1 heaping Tablespoon of batter onto your hot, preheated waffle cone iron.
  3. Check each cone after 1:15 minutes but it could take unto 2:30 per cone depending on your machine.
  4. Remove from the hot surface with tongs and shape quickly with your cone roller on a flat surface.
