Homemade Dairy-Free Decadent Hot Chocolate

Nothing brings comfort and joy quite like homemade hot chocolate! With real vanilla bean and CocoWhip topping, this recipe will inspire traditions, old and new.



For the Mix:

  1. In a food processor, blend the coconut sugar until fine. Add the chocolate chips and blend again until fine.
  2. Add the cocoa powder, and the vanilla beans (cut open and scraped. See how-to instructions below).
  3. Blend until all ingredients are a fine powder.
  4. Store in a mason jar or other air-tight container.


To Serve:

  1. Heat the Coconutmilk to desired temperature.
  2. Add 3-4 tablespoons of the hot chocolate mix and use a whisk to blend.
  3. Add one dollop of CocoWhip to the top, or whisk into the warm hot chocolate.
