Gluten-Free Wizard’s Hat Cookies with Dairy-Free Chocolate Ganache

This wizard has a something under his hat! A gluten-free sugar cone is piped with dairy-free chocolate ganache and sits atop your favorite ready-bake cookie. Served with a scoop of our frozen dessert.


  1. Bake cookies according to package instructions.

For the Dairy-free Ganache:

  1. Add the chopped chocolate to a large mixing bowl. Bring Culinary Coconutmilk to a boil.
  2. Pour hot coconut milk over chocolate and let it stand for 1 minute, then stir until smooth. Add vanilla extract.

For the Assembly:

  1. Use a piping bag or a plastic bag with a 1/4 inch hole cut from one corner to pipe a thick line of dairy-free chocolate ganache inside the cones, tip to rim.
  2. Assembling as you go, pipe a line of ganache around the surface of the cone rims and stick them onto the tops of each sugar cookie to make hats.
  3. Pipe one more line of ganache around the seam, where the cone meets the cookie. This will be the glue for any sprinkles, almond slices or cocoa nibs you choose to apply as a hat band.


Serve with a scoop of Salted Caramel Cluster.
