  1. Heat the oil over medium high heat and sauté onions until tender. Stirring, add the flour to form a roux.
  2. Add the mushrooms to the onion mixture and cook until just tender.
  3. Slowly add the broth to the onion and mushroom mixture and simmer.
  4. Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes until thickened, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the Coconutmilk Creamer, coconut aminos, nutmeg and red pepper flakes, plus salt and pepper to taste.
  6. To serve, spoon the mixture over Buttermilk Biscuits and garnish with more red pepper flakes, if desired.
