Creamy Irish Oats (Vegan And Gluten-Free)

Pre-toast steel-cut oats for extra deliciousness and top them with any wholesome delights on hand!



  1. Heat the coconut oil in a skillet using medium heat. Add the oats and toast 1-2 minutes, stirring, until golden. Remove from heat.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine the water and Coconutmilk. Bring the mixture to a simmer.
  3. Stir the oats into the Coconutmilkmixture and reduce the heat. Simmer gently for 20 minutes or so, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  4. Stir in the salt and stir occasionally. Reduce heat as necessary. Simmer until most of the liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and add stir in any mix-ins, if using. Let the oatmeal stand for several minutes before serving.
  6. Add So Delicious Dairy Free Plain Coconutmilk Yogurt Alternative and other toppings as desired.
