10 Minute Homemade Hot Fudge Sauce

10 minutes is all that separates you from this homemade hot fudge sauce. Rich, delectable, vegan hot fudge makes every sundae smile!

Directions

For the Hot Fudge Sauce:

  1. In a double boiler or in a metal bowl atop a saucepan add the vegan butter, and culinary coconut milk.
  2. Heat on medium-low until the vegan butter has melted. Stir with a rubber spatula to combine.
  3. Add the salt and vanilla extract, stir to combine, then add the sugar and chocolate. If you are using a dark chocolate above 70% cocoa, you way want to add more sugar to taste. We used Enjoy Life brand, semi-sweet.
  4. Stir the mixture back and forth and side-to-side until the sugar has dissolved and the chocolate is smooth and glossy.
  5. Allow to simmer for 1 minute, whisking continuously, until the sauce if fully combined.
  6. Pour into a container and allow to cool for 10 minutes before using.
  7. Store in the fridge for up to two weeks!
