Family and Friends Challenge Week

Fall is all about family coming together. The activities of the summer wind down, school starts again, weather turns colder, dreams of baked goods and holiday celebrations begin.  It can also mean being busy with homework, work, sports and distractions.  This week, we want to challenge ourselves and our families to spend quality time together.  We challenge you to make some time for family meals and activities this week and how us how you “fall” into family time.

This week is Family and Friends Challenge Week.  Each day of the week has a theme, and you have 24 hours to complete the Challenge.  The theme for Monday, October 6th, is Family Breakfast.  We know the week days are tough to sit down and have breakfast as a family.  We challenge you to make it happen.  Get ready for the day as a family by fueling yourself up with your favorite breakfast foods.

No time to cook? Family smoothies, or cultured coconut milk and granola work great! Eat breakfast as a family and enter your photo on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the tag #familychallenge for a chance to win great prizes.

Is our challenge accepted? Show us your breakfast with your roommates, coworkers, pals and/or family members on social and tell us how you enjoy breakfast as a family!

Here are Some Ideas:

  1. Cultured Coconut yogurt with apples, cinnamon and granola.
  2. Dairy-free Belgian waffles with organic maple syrup.
  3. A smoothie made with Vega Protein Powder and Almond Plus.
  4. A vegan omelet made with chickpea flour and vegetables.
  5. Sweet “cream” biscuits and vegan gravy.
