cozy coffee creamer

Are you a coffee connoisseur, beloved barista, or even just an average java Joe?  If, so we want your taste buds to help us out.  Our team is looking for coffee lovers to join us in creating our best coconut milk coffee creamers ever.

We work hard to create delicious foods and beverages made with ingredients that you can feel good about. One of our major initiatives has been to remove carrageenan from any of our products that contain it.  We’ve made great progress here and now have many beverages, frozen desserts, non-dairy yogurt substitutes, coconut culinary milks and whipped coconut dessert toppings that are all carrageenan free.  We have been creating new recipes for our coconut coffee creamers with a goal of having them hit shelves in a few months. Here’s where we need your help!

As we jumped into making new recipes for various foods and beverages, we made some other changes that you requested as well. We removed Vitamin A palmitate in favor of Vitamin A acetate in an effort to reduce palm ingredients. And, now with our coffee creamers, we just removed titanium dioxide within the past month.  You may notice this change, because our coffee creamers will not whiten your coffee quite the way they used to.  Now the only ingredient whitening your coffee is even more organic coconut milk.  Be careful not to overpour it into your coffee. The same amount will give you that sweet creamy boost you are looking for.

We are really happy about removing an ingredient that you asked us to.  But, we aren’t quite done yet. Over the next few months, we will be adjusting this recipe as we remove carrageenan. Your feedback is so important to us. As we work on our recipe changes, we want your help!  We would like to select 20 fans to brew up their coffee and sample some of our final creamer recipes. Provide us with feedback and help us make the best coconut milk coffee creamers!

  2. I like the flavor of the vanilla creamer but find the product very thin. Almost like putting flavored water in my coffee. I usually make my own to give it more body. If you could improve the creamer to be thicker I would buy some!

  6. I have been a devotee of So Delicious’ “Barista Style” Coconut Creamer” ever since first reading about it on Hannah Kaminsky’s daily blog. I requested a local store in the “Natural Grocer” chain carry it and they immediately responded. It has been a hit ever since. I like the original flavor and use it in the “French” and “Italian” roast coffee that I grind and prepare as well as in my dark roast espresso drinks made in my espresso machine. It froths awesomely as well as making divine cappuccinos. YEAH!!!

  7. Love, love, love your coconut products. I promote them all the time. For the new and improved creamer can CARRAGEENAN be removed.

  12. inlove your products. I’m lactose intolerant and I’m always looking for new products to try and create with. I love making lattes and smoothie with your products.

  13. I must say, I stay with just coconut milk for the most part because of all the other ingredients in the creamers. I would love to try some after taking out the junk. I can’t have coffee without creamer and making my own is difficult time wise. I do but it would be nice to purchase dome that’s healthier.

  14. Love all of the So Delicious brands that I’ve been able to try. Thanks for taking strides and pride in making them healthier. Love the coffee creamers.

  15. love the taste but find that it has a grittier feel lately. Not sure if that’s new or I’ve just become more aware of it. Would like it to be smoother.

  16. use to love the creamer – you changed it when the company changed hands – WHY – if the product was successful why mess with it? My advice would to be do what they originally were doing – PLEASE!

  17. I usually drink my coffee black, but occasionally want to add some non-dairy creamer. I love coconut milk/flavor and am happy you are in the process of removing harmful ingredients. I would like to see less sugar in all your products as well! Thanks for giving us better choices!

  18. Coconut milk and even rice milk for easy digestion. I have began to focus more on natural products. So thank you for the great explanation of products used.

  19. I am addicted to coffee an using different creamers.I hate it when I pay 4+for a creamer dont really like it when I get home.I usually drink it occasionally or give it away.I hate waste. But I drink coffee morning an nite all four seasons.I just love coffee with flavored creamers.

  20. Since first trying the SO Delicious “Barista Creamers,” I’ve not used anything else in my coffee drinks. They make fabulous hot and iced lattes as well as adding a delicious flavor and creaminess to brewed coffee.

  21. I’m lactose intolerant and I Love, love your creamer, as I am a huge coffee fan! Removing the carrageenan would be even better! Can’t wait to try it! …also, I Love the French Vanilla Batista Style! Yum! 🙂

  22. I have not tried your product before. I enjoy all kinds of coffee creamers and would love the chance to test your creamers. Thank you.

  23. I will be happy to try ANY of your new coconut creamers as long as there are no artificial sweeteners! Thank you!

  24. Lately your French Vanilla coffee creamer seems watered down and has little specs of white stuff floating on top no matter how much I shake and stir it. It looks like curdled milk and tastes much more sugary and less satisfying. What have you done to your perfect product?

  25. I am sorry to say that our morning coffee is just not the same. The change you made to your coffee creamer is disappointing to say the least. It tastes like a watered down version of the old product and I don’t buy “the same amount will give you that sweet creamy boost you are looking for.” THE TASTE IS NOT THE SAME and we are having to add extra creamer to get the same flavor we were accustomed to. For people that add creamer to their coffee (whether it’s a mental thing or not) they want to enjoy all three aspects of a cup of joe, aroma smell, taste and visual appeal. You could have at least warned the consumer ahead of time, instead we felt like you just watered down the product to save money. My wife and I have been using your creamer for over 3 yrs (regular & hazelnut) but will not be buying the creamers anymore. Our morning coffee has not been the same 🙁

    1. Hi Joe,

We appreciate your feedback. The new formula is being adjusted and we are getting good feedback on the new recipe. We want our fans to know that this reformulation is not to cut corners, but rather produce a product that our consumers love and feel safe consuming. We are still working diligently to achieve the creaminess you are looking for. Please accept our apologies, and if you email us at we can do our best to make up your bad experience.

  26. I have been buying the original coconut creamer for over 3 years and I have to say the new batch that I just opened and put in my coffee is AWFUL. My coffee is a deep dark brown, a shade lighter than before I put the creamer in. It is leaving a really unpleasant taste in my mouth after each sip. I cannot even finish drinking the cup because its that bad. The difference is like night and day. I am very disappointed because I absolutely love the way it was. Also, I don’t understand how you can put a product in a carton that the ingredients on it don’t match what is inside. I had to call before I even used it to see if something was wrong with it, as it is definitely thinner/liquidy. What a shame….I appreciate trying to make the creamers/products more health conscious, but I foresee a huge loss of creamer sales if the creamer stays this way. I know I wont be buying it anymore. I now have 4 cartons from the 18-388 plant I wasted money on.

  27. I have been using the coconut creamer for a few years now and have to say that I agree with Joe’s 1/22/15 comment. I have noticed a significant change in the creamy texture recently which is what led me to your site to investigate. I suspected it may have been the carrageenan removal but I still see it listed in the ingredients. I do applaud you for removing the titanium dioxide and working to remove carrageenan from your products. I’m sure it is a challenge to find a way to continue to have the creamy texture. I’m glad to hear that you are still working to achieve that and hope to be able to continue to enjoy your creamer in the future.

    1. Thanks Marianne! Yes, the current formula is without titanium dioxide and the final formula will be without carrageenan. We believe we have achieved the desired creaminess in the latest formula, and distribution will take a few more weeks. We appreciate your patience and support!

  28. The new “original” creamer is awful. I threw away the first half pint thinking it had gone bad. Doesn’t whiten and, more importantly, it has a metallic after taste. Nasty. Now I have to discard the half pint I bought yesterday and find a new creamer. Not a hapoy customer.

  29. I am not a coffee drinker. But I am a tea drinker and use half and half for my tea. I am look for a substitute for half and half and have read a lot of good things about your product. I look forward to trying your coconut creamer.

  30. The coffee creamer come out from box with residues around the spout. After shaking it, pour over my hot coffee and it looks not very creamy and so I pour a bit more. But after a while, coffee turns cloudy with little chunks and creamer starts coagulated. Is it something wrong with it? Its taste was fine. Expiration date is good and still 3 months away from now .

    1. We’re so sorry to hear that you had this experience with our creamer. This isn’t up to our quality standards and we’d like to make this up to you. Please call us at 1-844-349-6329 so that we can look into this and make it right for you.

  31. Disappointed. I shook my creamer for almost 10 min and it still came out looking like watery cottage cheese. It’s not expired and I just opened it this morning. Hopefully this isn’t normal. If it is I can’t say that I would buy again.

    1. Hi Aiden. We’re so sorry for your experience. It definitely does not meet our standards for quality. Please call us at 1-844-349-6329 so that we can look into what happened and make this up to you.
