Buttermilk Biscuits

Directions for Preparation

Preheat oven to 450°F. Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until mixture forms crumbles the size of large peas. Add cultured coconut milk and stir until a ball is formed. 

Turn onto a floured board and knead lightly. Roll dough to ½” thickness. Cut into 2 ½ “ circles. Place them on a greased baking pan or cookie sheet slightly touching. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Yield 14 biscuits.
